Run a Dance Studio Diamond Dance Extravaganza

On 4 September 2026 Dance Interactive’s formations post told owners to finish choreography before the Roblox Awards and Diamond Dance Extravaganza. That is the entire public brief. This page exists so the name does not live as a rumor screenshot. It is not a second Awards clock. It is a named show sitting next to Awards until Instagram gives it times.

What is confirmed

• The name Diamond Dance Extravaganza appears in the official formations caption next to Roblox Awards.
• The same window shipped multiple formations in one dance, two-story studios, nine new moves, five mystery costume pieces, Fuse, batch delete, and gold furniture. Patch notes: formations / Update 1.
• Weekly Roblox Awards still have a published clock and a qualification rule (1 Solo Nationals + 1 Group Nationals). Those times live on Roblox Awards and the schedule tool.

What is not confirmed: a separate date, a separate lobby cap, a diamond currency, a unique scoring rule, or a Gamepass gate. Do not invent them.

How to prep anyway

Treat Extravaganza as a reason to keep a spare routine warm — a second group with a formation change, or a contemporary/lyrical piece that is not your Awards submit. Awards still happens weekly. Missing Saturday because you are “saving the good one” for a show with no clock is how you miss both.

Practical pile:

1. Qualify for Awards every week you can. Competitions.
2. Save a spare with at least one formation change. Create a routine.
3. Train the bodies on that spare. Train dancers.
4. Dress it if Gems remain after teachers. Costumes.
5. Watch @runadancestudio for a clock. When one posts, it will be copied onto the schedule instead of replacing Awards.

How this is not Awards

Awards has regional labels (Sydney Sunday 9:30 AM AEST, Los Angeles Saturday 4:30 PM PDT, New York Saturday 7:30 PM EDT) that are one window. Extravaganza does not. Awards has a 24-entrant lobby and a Champion title in official copy. Extravaganza does not, yet. If a Discord posts “Diamond is tonight,” demand the Instagram graphic.

The 4 September caption also said hopefully you have this worked out before both shows. “This” is formation changes. A single-clump group will look dated at Awards and at whatever Extravaganza becomes. Fix the picture this week either way.

Economy and naming

“Diamond” in the title is branding until the studio says it is a currency. Gems remain the pack currency. Cash remains the building currency. Do not dump Gems into a “diamond pack” that does not exist. Earn cash and gems.

If your studio name still renders as hashtags, fix that before any show — getting started. A Champion overlay with ##### is still a filtered name.

When this page will grow

The next edit here is a table of times, a qualification line, and a reward line — copied from Dance Interactive, not guessed. Until then, this hub is a bookmark plus a prep list. Pair it with Updates so a later patch does not hide the clock in a formations recap.

Keep playing the weekly Awards. Keep a spare routine that uses the new formation tool. When Extravaganza gets a flyer, you will already have the piece. That is the only honest strategy while the studio is still saying “stay tuned.”

A day earlier, on 3 September, the official account posted we’ve heard the chatter.. stay tuned — the teaser sitting in front of Update 1. Extravaganza may be part of that chatter or a later drop. Either way, the work is the same: Fuse duplicates, add a second picture, do not sit on an empty second story. Guest-judge nights (Shannon Atkins was billed around 2 September) already proved the studio will name a show before they name a clock. Bookmark this page, run Awards this week, and refuse to skip a qualified Saturday for a diamond that has not been given a time zone.
