Run a Dance Studio Guides and walkthroughs

From first enrol to Roblox Awards — every loop in one hub.

Guides Hub

Run a Dance Studio looks like a dress-up game from the thumbnail and plays like a competitive tycoon once you are inside. You are not just posing avatars. You are hiring a roster, raising stats, saving choreography, and sending that work into judged events that every server shares. This hub is the map of those loops.

Dance Interactive launched the experience on Roblox in late August 2026. Official posts already answer the questions owners spam in comments: how Cash appears, why Gems matter, how a routine is built, and how the weekly Roblox Awards work. The guides below turn those posts — plus the first weeks of leaderboard results — into pages you can follow between classes.

Start here if you just joined

  1. Getting started — join, name the studio, first rooms, first enrolments.
  2. Earn cash and gems — the economy so you do not dump Gems into the wrong pack.
  3. Earn Gems from quests — Quest tab tasks that pay Gems on weekdays.
  4. Create a routine — dancers, music, formations, moves, and the Routine Creator Gamepass.
  5. Train dancers — teachers, stats, and why duplicates exist.
  6. Competitions — Nationals, ELO, Awards qualification, friends grouped together.
  7. Build your studio — DESIGN tools, second story, signage.
  8. Dynamic Cameras — record group routines after the 31 August drop.
  9. Costumes — packs, mystery pieces, Costume Designer.
  10. Controls — HUD, platforms, how to play.

Read them in that order if you have one evening. Skip around if you already have a Cash pile and only need formations or Awards times.

What these guides are for

Search traffic for a new Roblox dance sim clusters around a handful of intents: how to play, how to get Cash, how to get Gems, how to create a routine, how to compete, how to build, how to get more teachers. Each page below is written for one of those intents and then cross-links the others so you do not hit a dead end.

Pair any guide with the codes hub (currently no live promo) and the updates hub so a new formation tool or Awards rule does not surprise you mid-week.

How we source these pages

We do not copy other wikis. Facts come from Dance Interactive’s public posts (launch loop, BUILD → DESIGN, Routine Creator Gamepass, cross-server comps, Roblox Awards rules and time zones, 31 August Dynamic Cameras / friends grouping / Quest Gems, multiple formations, second-story tutorial), from the Roblox experience listing (Dance Interactive, simulation, launch week visits), and from named public results (Studio of the Month JWDA, early ELO names, Awards leaderboard callouts). Where the studio has not published a number — Gamepass Robux price, exact second-story Cash, quest payouts — we say so instead of guessing.

If a YouTube walkthrough exists for a topic, we embed one real video in the middle of that page. We will not invent IDs. The official teaser lives on the homepage; guide pages stay text-first until a matching tutorial is public.

After the how-to pages, use the tier list hub to spend Gems, the players hub to see who is actually winning, and the Awards schedule so qualification is on your calendar. Scripts, if any appear, are listed separately in the scripts hub — we found none dedicated to this game at launch.
