Dancer Tier List

Owners open packs hunting a face. Judges score a trained body in a routine. This dancer list for Run a Dance Studio is an early-meta queue: who to put on a solo, who belongs in a group picture, and how to treat the real-life dancers Dance Interactive dropped into the roster.

How to read the ranks

Dance Interactive has not published a public stat spreadsheet. Ranks below are roles, not invented power numbers.

  • S — Train first. Occupies your solo slot or anchors a group.
  • A — Core. Worth teacher hours this week.
  • B — Bench. Fine in a formation, not your Awards soloist.
  • C — Later. Cute pack filler until Cash is stable.

Re-rank after you see in-game numbers. Pair this page with train dancers so “S-tier” means hours, not a screenshot.

S-tier: the Awards pair

You need one soloist and one group core. That pair is S-tier on every account, even if the faces differ.

  • Soloist. Highest trained individual. Lyrical and contemporary both live or die on one person. Awards qualification needs a Solo Nationals mark — competitions.
  • Group core (4–5). The bodies you actually place in formation changes. Update 1 made multi-formation dances real; a core that can hit a line and a floor picture is worth more than eight untrained extras.

If a pack gives you a better face than your current soloist, train them before you retire the old one. Stats transfer through teachers, not through vibes.

Launch posts introduced Roblox versions of @ashalovestodance and @lilkira_jc, with more reveals promised. Those names will be searched. They are A-tier as roster identity and collection targets, not automatic stat gods. If you pull them, train them and put them on camera. If you do not pull them, you can still Champion — JWDA won a lobby title with grind, not with a cameo.

Guest judge Shannon Atkins is not a dancer you own. Do not waste a pack looking for her as a playable if she is billed as a special appearance.

B-tier: costume-first pulls

Costumes and extra bodies that complete a silhouette but cannot solo yet. Use them in group pictures after Update 1 so the ghost-formation overlay looks full. Do not dump Gems repeating dancer packs only to collect outfits — earn cash and gems says teachers often pay better.

C-tier: untrained duplicates

Duplicates might be merge fuel. Owners asked how to merge duplicate dancers to increase points. Park extras. Do not sell or delete until merge is visible. A C-tier duplicate today can be S-tier fuel tomorrow.

Pack strategy

Open dancer packs when:

  • You cannot field a soloist or a group of four
  • You specifically want a featured face and Cash is already flowing

Do not open dancer packs when:

  • Teachers are missing
  • You have ten untrained bodies
  • You are saving for a second story — build your studio

Role vs style

A contemporary Awards clock wants a different phrase than a lyrical pre-launch tag. Style sits on routine styles. The dancer still needs training either way. Choreography is create a routine.

Copying the board

Elite Superstars and Ace Dance Works showed up on early board posts. That does not tell you which NPC they use. Copy their discipline (solo + group + formations), not a rumored secret dancer. Names: leaderboard.

This list will get colder numbers when packs show rarity. Until then, train the pair that qualifies you for Roblox Awards and ignore the rest of the closet.
