Run a Dance Studio How to earn Gems from quests

Open the Quest tab. That list is the weekday Gem trickle Dance Interactive actually shipped.

Earn Gems from Quests

On 31 August 2026 Dance Interactive posted three live features. The third line is the one owners had been asking in comments: Earn Gems from Quests — click the Quest tab to see what you can earn. Before that post, the only Gem source the studio named in public was competitions, with a spike at Roblox Awards. Quests sit next to that loop. They do not replace it.

This page is the Quest tab in wiki form. We will not invent a daily checklist Dance Interactive did not publish. The tab in your client is the list. If a clip recites ten tasks that are not on your screen, that clip is a different patch, a different game, or a guess.

Where the Quest tab lives

The official instruction is one verb: click the Quest tab. In a Roblox sim HUD that usually means a side or bottom glyph labelled Quest, Missions, or a clipboard. Rotate to landscape on mobile if the tab is hiding under the chat. If you joined a server that spun up before the 31 August push, rejoin once — launch-week Gamepass comments already proved some features take a server recycle to appear.

You do not redeem quests in the codes box. Codes are promo strings. Quests are tasks the live client tracks. Mixing them is how people paste “QUEST” into a gift field and then say the wiki is wrong.

What quests are for

Gems open packs: dancers, songs, costumes, teachers. Cash from enrolment still pays the building. Quests are the weekday Gem trickle so you are not sitting on zero until Saturday’s Awards lobby. Treat them as a top-up, not as a replacement for Nationals marks or for the earn cash and gems loop.

A sensible order after the tab went live:

  1. Open Quest and read what is actually offered today.
  2. Do the tasks that already sit on your path (enrol, train, submit a routine) before you invent extra work.
  3. Spend the Gems on the hole your roster has — teachers or missing roles — using the tier list hub.
  4. Still enter comps. Quest Gems plus Awards Gems stack. They do not cancel.

What we will not claim

Dance Interactive did not publish:

  • A numbered list of daily vs weekly quests
  • Gem amounts per task
  • A reset clock in a specific timezone
  • Whether missed quests roll over
  • Whether VIP or the Routine Creator Gamepass changes the tab

Until they do, this wiki will not fill those cells with “probably 50 Gems.” Guessing a payout is how fake code tables start. Click the tab. Screenshot it if you need a personal checklist. Come back here when the studio posts a graphic.

How quests sit next to the official earn loop

The launch-week graphic is still the spine: build, enrol, train, compete, open packs. Quests hang off that spine. A task that says “enter a competition” is the studio paying you to practice the submit flow you already need for Awards qualification. A task that says “train a dancer” is paying you to do teacher hours. A task that mentions a routine is paying you to keep choreography warm.

If a quest asks you to spend Cash on a room, check build your studio first so you do not buy empty stairs to complete a one-day task. Capacity that you can staff is still the Cash engine. A quest should ride that engine, not derail it.

Friends, cameras, and the same patch

Quests did not ship alone. The 31 August post also turned on Dynamic Cameras for recording group routines and grouped Roblox friends who enter the same competition. Those three changes are written together on three live features. Use cameras when a quest wants a clip or when you want proof of a formation change. Use the friends grouping when you and a studio partner both need a Nationals mark on the same night.

Spending the Gems you just earned

Same discipline as competition Gems:

  1. Teachers if stats are the bottleneck.
  2. Dancers if you cannot field a soloist or a group core.
  3. Songs if a category you need for Awards is locked.
  4. Costumes last unless presentation is the only gap.

Opening every pack the moment a quest pays is how you own six costumes and zero teachers. The Quest tab is a faucet. The dancer and teacher lists are the plan.

Common mistakes

  • Waiting for a promo code that is not live while the Quest tab already pays.
  • Ignoring comps because “quests are enough.” Awards still need Nationals marks and still pay an entrant reward.
  • Buying a second story to clear a build-themed task when the first floor is empty.
  • Trusting a YouTube overlay that belongs to RH Dance Studio, KOYA, or ORA. Those are different games.
  • Injecting a script that auto-completes quests. There is no dedicated loader for this experience, and auto-claim tools are a ban conversation you do not need.

Weekly rhythm with quests on

  • Weekdays: open the Quest tab after enrolment. Knock out tasks that match training and a regular submit. Save Cash toward rooms you actually staff.
  • Friday: confirm solo and group Nationals marks. Re-save formations. Check the tab once more so you do not leave Gems unclaimed before the show.
  • Saturday/Sunday: Awards window on the schedule. Quest Gems will not reserve a 24-entrant slot.
  • After the show: spend the combined quest-plus-Awards pile on the hole the judges showed you.

Quests are the missing Gem sentence from launch week. Click the tab, play the tasks that already grow the studio, and keep competitions on the calendar. The rest of the economy still lives on earn cash and gems.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for studio owners, competitions, and currencies.

How do I earn Gems from quests?

Open the Quest tab in the live HUD and complete the tasks listed there. Official 31 August post — details on this page.

Do quests replace competitions for Gems?

No. They sit beside comps and Awards. Keep submitting — see competitions.

Is there a published quest list?

Not outside the client. We will not invent one. The tab is the list until Dance Interactive posts a graphic.

Are quest Gems a promo code?

No. Codes go in the redeem box — how to redeem. Quests are tasks, not strings.
